Conference Director: Jen Wojtysiak (BS, ThM)
Jen is a Wisconsin-born native and has been a field leader with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship for 19 years. She has a heart for ministry and mission in the university setting. Jen provides leadership as the Student Ministries Director of Nurses Christian Fellowship to our student work nationwide. She loves adventuring with her family, coffee with friends, and reading good murder mystery books. |
Keynote Speaker: Heidi Saarinen (BSN, DNP)
Heidi accepted Jesus Christ as her savior as a young child and has continued to trust His path for her life through struggles, temptations, opportunities, blessings, and trials in this life. She graduated from North Dakota state university with (NDSU) with her BSN in 2005 and came back and graduated with her DNP in 2010. She worked as a registered nurse (RN) for Sanford Health in Fargo on the rehabilitation unit and cross trained to various departments, including ortho, eating disorders, palliative care, MedSurg, and transitional care. She currently works in the clinic as a nurse practitioner to continue to bring relevant skills into her teaching. She acknowledges that God has placed her in positions of wife to amazing husband, Seth for the last 18 years; mother of two wonderful children, Rafe (13) and Taya (5); full-time professor in the Doctor of Nursing Practice track in the College of Health Professions at North Dakota State University (NDSU); nurse practitioner at Sanford Sleep Medicine; nurse practitioner at Pinnacle Health Family Practice; and advisor to a thriving Nursing Christian Fellowship ministry at NDSU. |
Special Guest: Katharine Provost (BS, MA)
Katharine is the National Associate Director of NCF Student Ministries so has the joy of resourcing and supporting groups around the country from her home in Big Lake, MN. While working toward her MA in Christian Studies at Crown College, she discovered a passion for helping others grow in their Christian faith so that they can live a life on mission. She especially enjoys helping people see how they can live and share the gospel in their everyday lives and work. |
Onsite host: Jeremy Hamilton (BS, MA)
Jeremy serves as the Area Ministry Director for the Dakotas with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (the broader ministry of which NCF is a part). Since 1999 Jeremy has been enthusiastic about engaging students in college and university settings in issues of faith and discipleship. In recent years more of his energy has gone to support focused ministry like NCF and underserved institutions like 2 year technical colleges. |
