We pray with our Ichtus friends and colleagues on the first Thursday of the month at 9:30 am Central.  We would love to have you join us for this 30 minute Zoom gathering.

Our History

Here’s a quick timeline of how our partnership developed:

2009-12
current InterVarsity South Dakota Director, Jeremy Hamilton, served in Belgium with a focus on developing young staff and helping Ichtus groups grow in outreach. 

2014 - present
​InterVarsity South Dakota staff and students began praying for Ichtus and collecting offerings at conferences. 

January 2018
Sem and Lara, two Ichtus staff, came to South Dakota to participate in our Winter Conference, direct The Mark Drama in two of our chapters, and train several staff to direct The Mark Drama. 

February 2020
Jeremy Hamilton, Caleb Leppert, and Elijah Hamilton traveled to Belgium to participate in launching our formal twinning relationship with Ichtus and to recruit for South Dakota 20, a summer opportunity for discipleship and cross cultural engagement (which unfortunately had to be canceled due to the pandemic). 

April 2020 - present
We currently have a monthly joint prayer meeting and look forward to future partnering events in both countries. ​
