What is the Mark Drama?
The Mark Drama is a 90 minute theatrical presentation of the Gospel of Mark. It is performed in theatre-in-the-round with no props, no costumes, and no professionals--just every incident of Mark's Gospel vividly and powerfully portrayed.
‍
It is an amazing reminder of the work of Jesus for Christians, and for anyone investigating the Christian faith it is a powerful introduction and invitation.

our Story
Our story begins over a decade ago and across the Atlantic Ocean in the city of Leuven, Belgium. In the spring of 2009, Jeremy Hamilton, our current area director, first experienced the Mark Drama. He says that even though the production was in Dutch he remembers understanding the whole presentation. When Jeremy moved back to SD he sought to bring the Mark Drama to South Dakota, because he knew the impact it would have on students.
our Experience
In February of 2018 Sem and Lara were invited to South Dakota to train Jeremy and John Florey to direct the Mark Drama. Since then SD Mines and SDSU have performed the Gospel of Mark a half-dozen times on campuses in SD.

our Vision
We want to continue performances in SD and beyond, both where we have established groups and where we hope to start ministry.
As we continue to develop the Mark Drama as a unique outreach tool, we would love to hear your thoughts.
